I served as a PreK – Grade 8 school principal for seven years. I was considered the curriculum leader of the school. I organized and conducted professional development workshops for the faculty and staff on a regular basis. Some of the workshops were designed to assist teachers in completing their certification and thus become professionals.
My present church envisions establishing a center of influence to train the church members and the community to become professionals in holistic health care. We are at the planning stage. We are using a SWOT analysis in the deliberations to determine the viability of this project. I learned this skill from the Business Strategies class taught by Dr. Pilgrim.
